Activities of the National Symposium on Water Security

The Ibn Khaldoun Hall at the Library of the Faculty of Law and Political Science hosted the activities of the national symposium, held both in person and via remote communication. The event was organized by the Laboratory of Modern Technology Applications to Law at the faculty, under the title “Achieving Water Security in Light of Global Challenges: Towards Rebuilding a Vision for Managing Shared Resources.”

Activities of the National Symposium on Cultural Security in Cyberspace

 The Department of Sociology at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences organized a national symposium on “Cultural Security in Cyberspace: Protecting Youth from Misinformation and Extremism” at Auditorium 07. The event brought together a select group of professors and researchers from Sétif 2 University and ten other national universities.
 The symposium was inaugurated by the University’s Vice-Rector in charge of Scientific Research and the Dean of the Faculty. The event witnessed notable attendance from professors and students across various disciplines, in addition to several distinguished guests, including the Director of Culture for the Wilaya of Sétif.

Opening of the Activities for Arabic Language Month

 In celebration of the World Arabic Language Day, observed annually on December 18, the Faculty of Arts and Languages launched today the opening activities of the Arabic Language Month, which will continue until December 16, 2025. The faculty has scheduled a series of scientific and cultural events for the occasion, aimed at highlighting the status of the Arabic language in higher education and scientific research, engaging with contemporary linguistic issues, and reinforcing the civilizational dimension of Arabic as a fundamental component of national identity.

The University Business Incubator of Sétif 2 University has obtained the Innovative Project Label, awarded to the student Okba Bouneghah from the Faculty of Law and Political Science, Department of Law, under the supervision of Professors: Narges Safou, Nabil Benmoussa, and Mahfoud Mellouk.
On this occasion, the University Rector extends his warmest congratulations and best wishes to the student Okba Bouneghah, the supervising professors, and the Business Incubator, along with all the team members who contributed to achieving this remarkable accomplishment.
Securing the incubator’s first Innovation Label reflects the outstanding efforts and continuous dedication of the professors and mentors within this important university structure. It represents the fruit of sustained teamwork and marks a significant step toward fostering and encouraging a culture of creativity and innovation at the university.
