Global Entrepreneurship Week, 17–23 November 2025:Under the theme “Together We Build”, the University Director, Professor El-Kheir Kechi, presided over the opening of the Global Entrepreneurship Week. On this occasion, several stakeholders and specialists in the field delivered presentations.
In this context, the University’s Vice Director in charge of Scientific Research presented an overview of the sector’s efforts to promote entrepreneurial thinking within the academic community, along with official statistics on the current state of innovation, the creation of economic enterprises, and the university’s openness to its economic and social environment.
The Director of the National Agency for the Promotion and Development of Entrepreneurship for the Wilaya of Sétif gave a presentation on the stages and steps of establishing micro-enterprises, support and accompaniment mechanisms, and the role of the university in promoting and training student project holders.
Participants also listened to the success story of the startup “Mostachir”, headed by Dr. Kheireddine Boulafaa, a member of the National Committee for Monitoring Innovation and Academic Entrepreneurship.
An exhibition of micro-enterprises funded by the National Agency for the Promotion and Development of Entrepreneurship was also organized.
As part of these activities, coordinated by the university’s structures, the first day included a session with entrepreneurs at the Business Incubator, as well as the launch of competitions in entrepreneurial digital content and the best innovative idea.
