The Laboratory of Arab Interculturality in Literature and Criticism at the Faculty of Arts and Languages organized a PhD day focused on the 2024 publications of its professors, featuring readings and discussions of the works by Professors Boumenjel Abdelmalek, Yacine Benabid, Trouche Hocine, and Mokhtar Mellas. These publications are closely linked to Algerian culture and address various critical, cultural, and intellectual issues. The event concluded with honoring Professor Yacine Benabid, Director of the Islamic Cultural Center of Djamaa Al-Kebir (the Grand Mosque) in Algiers.
In celebration of the 70th anniversary of the outbreak of the Liberation Revolution and in commemoration of the December 11, 1960 demonstrations, Mohamed Lamine Debaghine University – Setif 2, in coordination with the Heritage and Archaeological Studies Laboratory of the Department of History and Archaeology, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, is organizing a national historical symposium on December 15, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. in Auditorium 7.
