On December 17, 2024, the University Business Incubator of Mohamed Lamine Debaghine University – Sétif 2 organized the Business Café event at the Ibn Khaldoun Lecture Hall in the Faculty of Law and Politics Library. The event featured the participation of the Manager of Taxation for the Province of Sétif, the Deputy Manager of Investment and Taxation, and the Manager of the National Agency for the Support and Development of Entrepreneurship in Sétif. The meeting aimed to introduce students with innovative projects and business owners to the various support and assistance mechanisms provided by the state through its public institutions for young student entrepreneurs.

The Center for Competitions, Examinations, and Professional Tests at Mohamed Lamine Debaghine University - Setif 2 informs all institutions and public administrations which participated in the professional examinations held on November 14 and 15, 2024, to be present there on Tuesday, December 17, 2024. They are required to bring the institution's stamp and either a copy of the payment voucher for the competition organization fees or a commitment to pay the dues in order to collect the success reports.
On December 15, 2024, the national historical symposium was launched to commemorate the December 11, 1960 demonstrations and to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the outbreak of the glorious Liberation Revolution. The event was organized by the university with the participation of a distinguished group of professors and researchers in history, and it took place in Auditorium 07. The symposium opened with a speech by Professor El-Kheir Gueshi, the university rector, on the December 11, 1960 demonstrations. He also presided over the honoring of the family of the late Professor Dr. Ouness Miloud, during which a book containing a collection of academic works by his fellow professors from the Department of History and Archaeology was presented. The symposium continued with a variety of presentations relevant to the occasion and was marked by a strong presence of professors and students.
