University Business Café Events
A coordination meeting of the University Business Incubator and the members of the incubator's scientific committee was held today, February 1, 2024, at the new headquarters of the University Business Incubator (University Presidency Annex 6000 seats). The following points were discussed:
- Evaluation of the incubator's activities for the year 2023
- Preparation for the Media Week on the activation mechanisms of Ministerial Decision 1275, scheduled from February 5 to February 8, 2024 (Media Day and Awareness Caravans).
- Preparation for the business meeting (Business Café) scheduled for February 12, 2024.
- Preparation for the 2nd National Incubator Conference scheduled for March 5, 2024, at the Faculty of Arts and Languages.
- Establishment of a work schedule for professors, including the evening period until 22:00.

Graduation theses discussion: Startup Patent
The discussion of graduation theses continue as part of Ministerial Resolution 1275 project on December 30 and 31, 2023, at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. The focus is on the graduation theses within the framework of Ministerial Resolution 1275: Startup Patent.

Graduation thesis discussion: Startup patent
As part of implementing Ministerial Resolution 1275, today, Sunday, December 24, 2023, the university director presided over the discussion of a graduation thesis at the undergraduate level for a startup on "Designing Civil Protection Suits According to Ergonomic Standards." The thesis was prepared by the students: Roumaissa KARA and Madjda DAHOUMANE, specializing in Organizational and Work Psychology, Department of Psychology, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. The supervision was conducted by Professor Dr. Samra ASLI. The examination committee consisted of professors: Dr. Mouna Kharmouche, Dr. Soufia Alti, Dr. Hassina Zakraoui, Dr. Lounis Nahaoua, along with the social partner representative: Captain Mohammed Fares SEDDIKI. The students received guidance and support from the University Business Incubator and the committee overseeing the implementation of Ministerial Resolution 1275.
Discussion of the First Graduation Thesis within the Framework of Ministerial Decision 1275 Project
Professor Kheir GUESHI, the university director, presided over the initiation of discussions for the first graduation thesis within the framework of Ministerial Decision 1275: Startup Enterprise Patent, titled “Startup Enterprise: Office of Studies for the Maintenance and Restoration of Fixed and Movable Antiquities.” The event was attended by university officials, professors, and students, The evaluation committee consists of professors in the field of archaeology, a representative from the social and economic partner (Director of the Public Museum for the Setif Province), and a representative from the university business incubator. The thesis was prepared by students: Zainab Belhawan, Samir Bouguera, and Nasir Baghdadi, under the guidance and supervision of Professors Eid Abdelhak and Youssef Hendi from the Department of History and Archaeology. As part of the execution and embodiment of Ministerial Decision 1275, and in cooperation with the business incubator, discussions of other theses have been scheduled at the beginning of the academic year 2023 - 2024

Sessions for selection of graduation thesis projects: start-up institution - patent
The start of discussing and selecting projects for graduation theses, within the framework of the business incubator of the University of Mohamed Lamine Debaghine Setif 2, through implementing the ministerial decision 1275: “The graduation thesis of a patented start-up institution”, the incubator director and members of the scientific committee of the incubator supervised listening to the students’ presentations, those who registered their projects and ideas on the digital platform designated for this purpose, the selection process will continue until January 15, 2023, after which the formation and training of accepted projects will begin under the Ministerial Decision 1275.
Launching an awareness campaign for the incubator project in the Faculty of Letters and Languages
The awareness campaign under the Ministerial Decision 1275, “graduation thesis project for a start-up institution and patent”, will be held on Wednesday, December 14, at the Faculty of Letters and Languages, in the presence of the Vice President of the University, faculty officials, the Director of the incubator, and members of the incubator. Explanations and clarifications were provided about the project, and students’ concerns and questions were listened to. Also, an intervention was made by the Vice President of the University and the Director of the incubator to the professors and students participating in the study day about the graduation thesis organized by the French Language Department, and inviting the attendees to strongly engage in this project, and to register on the digital platform designated for this purpose.
