On Sunday, December 14, 2025, the University Scientific Council held its regular session under the chairmanship of Professor El-Kheir Gachi, Rector of the University, who oversaw the installation of the new members of the University Scientific Council.
The meeting agenda included the presentation and discussion of reports on pedagogical activities, scientific research, postgraduate studies, and innovation, as well as a report on external relations, cooperation, and international exchange for the year 2025. The council also reviewed the progress and implementation of the major files of the higher education and scientific research sector, and approved a proposal for appointments to senior positions.
In celebration of the 71st anniversary of the outbreak of the glorious Liberation Revolution, and in commemoration of the demonstrations of December 11th, 1961, Mohamed Lamine Debaghine University – Sétif 2, in coordination and partnership with the Laboratory of Heritage and Archaeological Studies of the History Department, is organizing the Ninth National Symposium entitled: “Sétif and the Reformist and Political Struggle Movement (1900–1954): Figures, Issues, and Positions.” The event will take place on December 11th, 2025, in Amphitheater 07 at 9:00 AM.
The Artificial Intelligence Center of Mohamed Lamine Debaghine University – Sétif 2 is organizing a training workshop entitled “Artificial Intelligence: From Basic Concepts to Prompt Engineering” on Monday, December 8th, 2025 at 9:00 AM.
