The Laboratory of Contemporary Algerian Society at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences organized a national symposium entitled “Values and the Epistemology of the Humanities and Social Sciences: the Dialectic of Interpenetration and Separation.”
The opening of the symposium was presided over by the Vice-Rector of the University in charge of Scientific Research and Postgraduate Studies.
The symposium brought together professors and researchers from various academic disciplines from Setif 2 University, as well as professors from other national universities. It also witnessed a distinguished attendance of professors and students.

As part of the celebration of Arabic Language Month, the Laboratory of Pragmatic Approaches and Discourse Strategy at the Faculty of Arts and Languages organized the second national symposium entitled: “Modern Approaches to the Translation and Interpretation of Religious Texts between Rootedness and Modernization.”
The symposium was opened by the Vice-Rector of the University in charge of External Relations and Scientific Events, in the presence of the Vice-Rectors of the University, the Dean of the Faculty, and the administrative and academic staff.
As part of Mohamed Lamine Debaghine University of Sétif 2’s continued efforts to support the accompaniment and creation of micro and economic enterprises, and to promote and develop entrepreneurship, the training sessions No. 23/24/25 were officially concluded on Sunday, December 14, 2025, at the Entrepreneurship Development Center of Sétif 2. These sessions had started on November 23, 2025.
The training courses were conducted under good organizational conditions, and participants benefited from a comprehensive training program that included several modules aimed at enhancing knowledge and skills in the field of creating and managing micro-enterprises, under the supervision of specialized trainers.
