The Responsibilities of the University's Digitalization Strategy Office (BSN)
-Based on the User Guide for the Digitalization Master Plan (SDN) for Higher Education and Scientific Research Institutions, dated October 24, 2022.
-Based on the Digitalization Master Plan (SDN), which encompasses the vision of digitizing the higher education and scientific research sector.
-The Digitalization Strategy Office (BSN) of the University of Mohamed Lamine Debaghine Setif 2 is entrusted within the framework of the national policy for digitizing educational and research institutions. It is responsible for supervising, monitoring, coordinating, and evaluating the strategic plan for university digitalization, as well as promoting and developing digital culture within the university community. This makes digitalization a fundamental pillar for every educational or developmental research activity at the university, serving as a catalyst for innovation and creativity.
It is responsible for a range of tasks that can be summarized as follows:
1-Implementing and executing the main digitalization plan (SDN) by developing a local strategy in alignment with the vision and goals of the supervising ministry, and working on shaping the digital future of the university.
2-Appointing the bodies responsible for local project execution and translating the programs of the SDN digitalization strategic plan.
3-Creating the ROADMAP business plan for all implementation bodies at the level of colleges and the university presidency.
4-Supervising the digitalization plan processes: Planning, Execution, Verification, Improvement, and Development.
5-Monitoring the execution of the digitalization plan and submitting periodic reports: Regional Committee, National Committee.
6-Promoting digital culture within the university environment and ensuring comprehensive management of the university's digitalization plan.
7-Cataloging and earmarking the essential digital resources needed for the implementation of digital projects at the university.
8-Assessing and suggesting the required human, financial, and infrastructure resources to achieve the university's digitalization program.
9-Analyzing and suggesting all measures to simplify and enhance the outcomes of university digitalization.
10- Evaluating local cooperation activities between the university and various digital sectors.
11-Assisting colleges and departments in realizing the strategic plan for digitizing the higher education sector.
12-Drafting the IT Charter to define the conditions and models for using IT resources for the university.
13-Creating a digital database for the university by monitoring and developing digital equipment and databases.
14-Supporting student success by providing digital support and platforms, ensuring the visibility of education and professional integration.
15-Assisting teachers and researchers in developing their pedagogical skills using digital tools.
16- Assisting the administration in improving its performance in supervising, managing, and monitoring the university's activities, and enhancing the information system and infusing a non-material aspect into administrative processes.
