-On the first of December 2025, the Department of Psychology, Educational Sciences, and Orthophony of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences organized a national symposium titled “Modern Psychological Therapies: From the Differential Paradigm to the Integrative Paradigm.” The symposium witnessed remarkable participation from research professors from Sétif 2 University and various national universities, as well as several practitioners and psychological specialists from the health sector, in addition to distinguished attendance from the faculty members and students of the department. The symposium was inaugurated in the presence of the university’s vice-rectors, the dean of the faculty, and the administrative and pedagogical staff.
The aim of the symposium was to discuss the latest methods and techniques in the field of mental health, the various therapies, and early intervention programs. It also addressed the qualitative shift in therapeutic practice from traditional differential models to modern, holistic, integrative models that provide personalized, effective, and successful treatment for patients. The symposium served as a platform and space for exchanging expertise, ideas, and visions regarding the future of psychotherapy. It promoted a culture of integrative treatment and strengthened cooperation between specialties to better serve patients. The symposium concluded with the presentation of recommendations by the organizing committee and the honoring of participating professors.
